A graphic advertising SPELLBOUND, featuring an abstract painting by Lynda Mullan as the background. Text reads “Spellbound, an eerie exhibition featuring work by over fifty local artists, costume party reception Friday October twenty seventh, six to nine PM, on view October twelfth to November fourth” and the gallery’s address: “four two three eight Nicollet Avenue Minneapolis five five four zero nine”

From classic movie monsters to memento mori, our second iteration of SPELLBOUND celebrates all eerie, spooky, creepy, and uncanny things. Mixing lighthearted fun with the macabre and supernatural - this exhibition features artwork that fits the multifaceted nature of the Halloween season. Whether you connect with the holiday’s reflective pagan roots welcoming the darker half of the year, or the material modern-day rituals of candy and disposable costumes, Halloween evokes something different in all of us.
